Our special extruders allow UNIGASKET to enter an important
market like PTFE thin wall tubes.
The high tensile resistance and the high temperature resistance (till 260°C), together with the electrical insulation capacity, gives the possibility to use our tube in different applications. The PTFE tubes are produced according to high quality standards as BS, DIN, UNI and AMS.

Field of application

We extrude our tubing from 1mm internal diameter to 100mm. They are used mainly to produce braided hoses, conveying corrosive fluids, steam and push-pull cables.
We could use special PTFE powders approved by FDA, DVGW and BFR that allow to our hoses to be used in food & beverage industry. We have also tested our hoses according to EC 2002/72 and DM 174/2004 that have confirmed the possibility to use our tubing in water, food and beverage contact.

Legislation

AWG tubing are mostly used in the electronic industry. They are extruded in three different wall thicknesses: Standard (SW), Thinwall (TW) and Ultra-Thinwall (LW). Our range full fills AMS Norms. The unique temperature resistance and dielectric stress are the main reasons for these applications. The dielectric strength value is at least of 20Kw/mm of wall thickness. Standard colours: Natural and White On request: Black, Brown, Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Orange and Pink.
